Through nourishing yoga practices, guided journaling exercises, meaningful art explorations, and an immersive sound healing experience, you'll be invited to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we'll honor the growth of the past year, let go of what no longer serves us, and cultivate a clear vision for the year ahead.

About the Presenter

Amy Jackson is owner of The Perch located in Aurora, Illinois. She is the author of Unhurried: A 52-Week Meditative Bible Reading Guide and 31 Days of Self Kindness, an RYT-200 yoga teacher, and a certified Wellness and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator. Jackson also holds an M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton College. She spends time leading retreats, teaching about soul care, and helping all sorts of people discover yoga. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, give themselves kindness, and live out their calling in healthy, flourishing ways.
 

Schedule

The retreat will begin at 9:00 am, and you can arrive between 8:45 and 9:00. We'll conclude our day at 4:00 pm. Included in the day is yoga, sound healing, teaching, group discussion, quiet reflection, guided meditation, and more! You'll love the slow flow through our meaningful activities. No rush. No urgency. Just an invitation to be fully present and rest.

Scholarships

Many of us have been hit hard financially over the past year, and the registration fee may be out of reach for you. If you would like to attend the retreat but can't afford it, there are scholarships available to lower the cost and make the retreat accessible to you. Is this retreat only for women?

No! As always, retreats offered by The Perch are open to adults (18+) of all genders.

What is the schedule for the retreat?

We'll begin at 9:00 am, and you're welcome to arrive anytime between 8:45 and 9:00. We'll conclude the day at 4:00 pm. We'll begin our time with gentle yoga, and then move into teaching, reflection activities, group discussion, and more. You'll also enjoy time on your own to reflect. Then we'll end the day with a sound healing session. You'll love the slow flow through our meaningful activities. No rush. No urgency. Just an invitation to be fully present and rest.

What food and snacks will be available?

I take great care in providing snacks and lunches that meet various dietary needs so you can relax and enjoy rather than worry about food. Closer to the retreat, you'll be sent a survey that asks about your dietary needs and preferences. This will guide the options available at the retreat.
