The Perfect Sunday Outing!

In this collaboration event from The Perch and McCarty Mills Taproom, you'll enjoy a beginner-friendly yoga class and a drink of your choice!

We'll start at The Perch at 11 am for a gentle class focused on stretching, breathing, and relieving tension in the body. Then we'll walk over to McCarty Mills and enjoy a drink together at noon! When you register for this class, you'll get a credit for a drink of your choice (some exclusions apply) at McCarty Mills to use after class.

If you've ever felt intimidated by yoga, this is the perfect class for you to have a different experience. Plus, there's beer after!!

Join us on Sunday, March 30 at 11 am at The Perch!

You're invited to wear comfortable clothing you can move around in (i.e., yoga clothes, sweatpants, or other clothing you'd wear to the gym). If you have a yoga mat, you're welcome to bring it, but we also have plenty to share. You'll have the opportunity to take off your shoes, so please plan accordingly. All adults (21+) of all genders are invited.

FAQ

What will we do during yoga class?

Amy Jackson will teach a 60-minute accessible class that focuses on yoga that feels good in our bodies. We'll stretch, relax, become more connected with our bodies, and build physical and mental strength, all while honoring our bodies' limitations and needs. Classes are on the gentle side with an emphasis on variations that allow everyone to participate.

Is this only for women?

No! As always, classes, workshops, and retreats offered by The Perch are open to all adults. For this particular class, you'll need to be 21+.

What should I bring to yoga class?

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. If you have a yoga mat, you can bring it with, but we have several to share if you don't have one. You'll be invited to take off your shoes, so plan accordingly. Any additional props you'll need will be provided.

What if I've never practiced yoga before?

Yoga classes at The Perch are intentionally inclusive to all. You do not need any prior experience with yoga poses. Of course, please check with your doctor to ensure this kind of physical activity is healthy for your body.

What if I register but can't make it to class?

We'll miss you! It's up to you if you want to let us know. Some students email us, and some don't. In general, we don't give refunds or credits for missed classes.

I have additional questions. How can I contact you?
