Relax deeply.

Join us for a special yoga class combining the deep relaxation of Restorative Yoga with the energy-clearing of Reiki. During this 75-minute class, you'll be guided into passive, restful poses that soothe the nervous system and leave you feeling rested. Meanwhile, you'll experience a taste of Reiki work to help remove eneegy blocks. You'll have the option to experience gentle touch (for example, on your head), or experience hands-off Reiki work.

This class is perfect for all yoga levels, including beginners. No prior yoga or Reiki experience necessary.

Join us on Sunday, February 15 at 5:30 pm at The Perch!

You're invited to wear comfortable clothing you can move around in (i.e., yoga clothes, sweatpants, or other clothing you'd wear to the gym). If you have a yoga mat, you're welcome to bring it, but we also have plenty to share. You'll have the opportunity to take off your shoes, so please plan accordingly. All adults (18+) of all genders are invited.

FAQ

What will we do during this yoga class?

Amy Jackson will teach a 75-minute Restorative Yoga class that focuses on relaxing the body and mind. We'll stretch, become more connected with our bodies, and relax deeply, all while honoring our bodies' limitations and needs. As we practice, Chrissy will facilitate Reiki work for each participant.

Is this only for women?

No! As always, classes, workshops, and retreats offered by The Perch are open to all adults of all genders.

What should I bring to yoga class?

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. You might consider wearing layers, such as a sweatshirt, so you can stay warm. If you have a yoga mat, you can bring it with, but we have several to share if you don't have one. You'll be invited to take off your shoes, so plan accordingly. Any additional props you'll need will be provided.

What if I've never practiced yoga before?

Yoga classes at The Perch are intentionally inclusive to all. You do not need any prior experience with yoga poses. Of course, please check with your doctor to ensure this kind of physical activity is healthy for your body.

What if I register but can't make it to class?

We'll miss you! It's up to you if you want to let us know. Some students email us, and some don't. In general, we don't give refunds or credits for missed classes.
