Come breathe and stretch with us on Saturday mornings at The Perch! These beginner-level yoga classes will help you start your day feeling grounded, strong, and refreshed.

Register for the day(s) you'll join us to reserve your spot! Class begins at 9:00 am and ends at 10:00 am. Then you can walk down to the farmers market just blocks away or stop by one of several coffeehouses for a drink or breakfast sandwich.

The Perch is located at 31 W Downer Place, Suite 301, Aurora, IL 60506. Free street parking is available as well as nearby free parking lots. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.

About the Teacher

Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson is founder and director of The Perch located in Aurora, Illinois, and the author of Unhurried: A 52-Week Meditative Bible Reading Guide. She is currently completing her RYT-200 (yoga teacher) training and holds an M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton College. She spends time leading retreats, teaching about soul care, and training church leaders. She has served on staff at several churches and is a former small-group minister. She is passionate about helping people discover their calling and live out that calling in healthy, God-honoring ways.

Are these yoga classes only for women?

No! As always, classes offered by The Perch are open to all adults.

What should I bring?

Be sure to bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You'll also be invited to take off your shoes, so plan accordingly.

What COVID precautions can I expect?

We're limiting the number of attendees for classes to allow extra space. Masks are required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
