Gentle movement + Healing Sound

In this restful and healing workshop, you'll be enveloped by soothing music as you're lead into several supported postures using our bolsters, blankets, and other yoga props. As you rest, you'll enjoy the soothing sounds of singing bowls, rain sticks, and more. Feel your body relax and your mind clear as the vibrations and restful postures soothe your nervous system. You'll leave feeling rejuvenated and rested.

With a focus on the start of spring, you'll be invited to open yourself to growth, light, and new life through guided intention-setting, postures, and a supportive environment.

Sound healing sessions have helped people relax, deal with stress, lessen pain, improve mood, sleep better, and feel more connected to their body. You might think of it as a restorative yoga practice with extra relaxing benefits.

Join us from 4:00 - 5:10 pm on March 23 for this meaningful workshop at The Perch!

Then register to make a Suncatcher with us right after the Sound Healing session! It's all part of Spring Fling!

About the Presenter

Shawna Serrato has always had a strong connection to music and wants to aid others in recognizing music's power of healing the mind, body and soul. Over the years she's gathered quite the collection of different instruments and now offers sound healing sessions and drum circles with a big focus on getting the body to move because movement is medicine and is super important for our well-being. Having experienced the healing power of music and though gathering in groups with like-minded people, Shawna found her true calling: bringing people together through sound and movement. Shawna has an empathetic gift and her love for the flow arts, farming, plant medicine, and taking care of animals help keep her heart open and her soul grounded.
