Rooted Retreat Ticket
March 21│9:00 am - 4:00 pm
REGISTRATION ENDS AT 10 AM ON MARCH 19.
Ephesians 3 says we are to be "rooted and established in love," but honestly most days don't feel all that rooted for us. We rush through our days trying to remember all the little details, trying to stay awake in work meetings, or trying to get our kids from here to there without a meltdown. It's easy to get to the end of the week and realize we haven't connected with God or others in meaningful ways and wonder if we'll ever get off the hamster wheel and actually feel connected to God throughout the day. We might even wonder if it's even possible to stay tuned into God throughout our everyday routines and rhythms.
If you feel disconnected from God or want to find ways to stay connected to God throughout the day, this retreat is for you. We'll be discussing what it means to be rooted in God and how we can remain rooted even when our lives feel unrooted and chaotic.
We'll spend time talking about what the Bible says about being rooted and what that actually looks like in everyday life. Plus, you'll have an opportunity to work through several activities on your own to reflect further on the themes of the day.
This retreat is open to men and women and will include a light breakfast, lunch, teaching, experiential activities, group discussion, and more. It will be held at The Perch in Aurora, IL (31 W Downer Place, Suite 301).
**We work hard to honor various dietary needs. Please use the drop down menu to let us know what dietary restrictions you may have so we can serve you well. If you choose "other" please specify at checkout in the notes box.
Doors open at 8:30 am for registration and light breakfast.
