Holistic Spirituality Retreat
March 6, with live sessions at 10 am and 2 pm CST
An Innovative Virtual Retreat to Explore the Connection Between Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, Social, and Physical Well-Being
Our spiritual lives don't exist in a vacuum, and they aren't supposed to either. Our spiritual, mental, emotional, social, and physical well-being are all interconnected—even if we often treat them as completely separate aspects of our lives. When one aspect is impacted, all the others are, too. We can experience a richer, fuller, healthier spirituality (and life!) when we intentionally engage soul care that integrates all these aspects of ourselves. The Holistic Spirituality Retreat will create space for us to explore holistic soul care practices so that we can live integrated, embodied, faithful lives.
On March 6, we’ll gather virtually through a private Facebook group for both live and on-your-own activities that will help you assess your overall well-being, discover what holistic spirituality looks like, explore holistic soul care practices, and determine your next step toward a more integrated, embodied, faithful life.
All who register will get:
- access to 2 Live Sessions (replays available through March 31)
- an invitation to a private Facebook group where we’ll host our live sessions and create space to connect with other retreat attendees
- Retreat Materials with on-your-own activities that complement the Live Sessions
- guidance for scheduling your retreat day
- help creating a meaningful space to retreat—wherever you're joining us from
- the opportunity to sign up for a virtual one-on-one Soul Care Session with Amy Jackson for a small fee where you can talk about setting up meaningful and sustainable soul care rhythms in your life, troubleshoot issues you’re having with soul care, or ask other soul care related questions
This Retreat Is Perfect For People Who:
- want to integrate their faith into all aspects of who they are
- are done compartmentalizing their spirituality
- often are too “in their head”
- want to improve their relationship with their emotions
- want to see their bodies as a gift, not a burden
- are curious about the connection between mind, body, and soul
- are seeking to grow in self-awareness
- are looking for fresh ideas to connect with God
- feel like there's more to the spiritual life than what they're experiencing
- want to take the next step in their spiritual growth
At 10 am CST, Amy Jackson, director of The Perch, will lead us in a live teaching session. You’ll want to have a notebook handy for this meaningful and practical teaching on what holistic spirituality is all about and what it can look like in our lives. You'll walk away with new perspectives and clear ideas for next steps.
At 2 pm CST, Amy Jackson will lead us live in several practices to connect mind, body, and soul. Somewhere along the line, the church made spirituality almost entirely an intellectual activity, all but forgetting our rich history of connecting mind, body, and soul. We’ll tap into some of these ancient practices (and modern takes on them!) so that we can have more integrated and holistic lives. Together we’ll try out a few practices to see what might feel meaningful to you in this season of your life.
Soul Care Sessions
Retreat attendees can sign up for an optional 30-minute one-on-one Zoom session with Amy Jackson, founder and director of The Perch. When you choose this option, you’ll select a time for your appointment on either Saturday March 6 or Sunday March 7 to meet with Amy to discuss your personal soul care. This is a great time to talk with Amy about setting up soul care rhythms in your life, troubleshoot soul care issues you’re facing, or ask questions related to soul care. When you register with this option, you’ll be sent an email with a link for you to choose your appointment time.

Is this retreat only for women?
No! As always, retreats offered by The Perch are open to all adults.
What is the schedule for the retreat?
The retreat is scheduled for Saturday, March 6. In a perfect world where we’d be gathering in-person, we’d begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:00 pm, so we’ll provide plenty for you to do as if you were attending live for that entire timeframe. But we know that retreating while at home will (and should) look a little different, so the retreat is designed to be flexible and work with your schedule. The on-your-own retreat materials will give you activities, practices, and reflection questions that you can take as much time with as you’d like, and you can do them whenever it makes sense for you. The Live Sessions at 10 am CST and 2 pm CST will complement the on-your-own activities in the retreat materials.
Will I be able to watch the Live Sessions afterward?
Yes! If you can’t join us live, the videos will be saved in the private Facebook group. You’ll be able to access everything in the Facebook group through the end of March.
How will I be added to the Private Facebook Group?
Once you register, you'll receive an email with information about joining the Private Facebook Group. Don’t worry—we’ll send you reminder emails to make sure you join the group before our retreat on March 6.
Do I have to use Facebook to attend?
The only way you can attend the retreat live and interact with other attendees is through Facebook. If you don’t use Facebook, however, you can still attend the retreat. We’ll send you the Retreat Materials ahead of time, and we’ll send you a link to the recorded live sessions afterward. They will be available for you until the end of March. If you don’t have Facebook, please let us know in the notes when you register so that we can properly accommodate you.
How do the Soul Care Sessions work?
Attendees of the Holistic Spirituality Retreat have the option of adding on a personal Soul Care Session for an additional $30 (a $45 value). This 30-minute one-on-one appointment with Amy Jackson will be over Zoom. When you register with this option, you’ll be sent an email with instructions on choosing your appointment time. Appointments are available on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7. Once your appointment time is confirmed, you’ll be sent information about logging in for your Soul Care Session.
When will I get my retreat materials?
Immediately after registering, you will be emailed a digital version of the retreat materials. Anyone who registered by February 24 was also mailed printed Retreat Materials as well as some extra goodies. You should have received a shipping notification with tracking information.
I have additional questions. How can I contact you?
