Brokenness Bowls Workshop

Brokenness Bowls Workshop

Regular price $49.00 Sale

Your brokenness doesn't make you weak.

In fact, I believe your brokenness can be healed to make you stronger, more resilient, and a healthier than you were before.

During this two-hour creative workshop, you'll be guided in a hands-on reflective experience that addresses the themes of brokenness, shame, and healing. We'll draw inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi which embraces imperfections, cracks, and brokenness, as well as the Japanese art form of kintsugi, which mends what is broken with gold.

This workshop will invite you to embrace the broken things in your life, asking God to put them back together so that they can become strengths rather than deficits. As you reflect, you'll have the opportunity to physically engage this philosophy through art, creating a bowl that can serve as a reminder of who you are and who you're becoming. You'll paint your bowl, break it, and mend it with gold adhesive, creating an unforgettable experience.
